Dedicated to the Preservation and Presentation of our local history
Fruitport, Michigan is a small town with a nationally historic past. From the Pomona House in 1871 to the Fruitport Pavilion that burned in 1963, the headwaters of Spring Lake was a destination hotspot for people from all over the United States for decades. Fruitport has been through several stages of development; Agriculture, Tourism and Industry all flourished here, and the Fruitport Historical Society is dedicated to making that history known.
Join us for our regular meetings, held the last Tuesday of each month at 6pm. Meetings are held at the Fruitport Library.
